Johara
Johara is a unique dance company, specialising in Contemporary Middle-Eastern and East/West Fusion. Our shows are created and directed by Josephine Wise, an international choreographer and dance instructor with a reputation for innovation in the dance world.
Josephine’s unusual and exciting choreography pushes the boundaries of what stories we can tell using dance styles from around the globe. Johara dancers come in all shapes and sizes, as we should! Between us we represent women from many different backgrounds, embracing our differences as well as our shared experience. Previous Johara shows have toured many theatres and festivals around the UK and France, including the International Bellydance Congress.

Isa’s Girls
Isa is a professional dancer and dance teacher who has worked in the West End, on film, television and extensively overseas. She enjoys passing on her knowledge and passion for bellydance as a teacher and choreographer. Introducing her dedicated belly dance performance group of students attending her weekly classes and workshops at the Dance Attic Studios in London.
Wardat Al Sahra
Formed in 2022, Wardat Al Sahra is Sue Baker’s Cambridge based Buckleton Belly Dance School’s Higher Level troupe. Tonight Sue, Louise, Jennie, Mary, Marina, Madeline & Trisha are performing a Hollywood influenced dance with cane, to the original version of this very popular song (Habibi Ya ayni). Music By Maya Yasbek, Choreography by Sue Baker.
Jeni Jones
Jeni lives near Southend (Essex) and is a keen hobbyist who has been dancing for several years. Jeni enjoys learning different styles of dance and benefits from the tuition of several teachers.
Vicki Ng
Dharshini
Dharshini is passionate about Raqs Sharqui. She travels extensively to learn from the master teachers, especially in Cairo and performed internationally. Dharshini has performed at Fantasia before and we are delighted she is doing so again.
Leilah’s Pineapple Tribe
Leilah’s pineapple tribe are students from leilah’s Monday Pineapple class! Every week leilah teaches a new choreography to students of all levels, This is one of the dances that they have learnt and decided to take onto the stage. Her students are from all backgrounds and walks of life but choose to come together and dance for joy. Leilah is an international belly dancer and performs at all kinds of events! She also teaches belly dance and fitness on her online app and platform called ‘Bellyfit By Leilah’ , here one can learn all things belly dance and get fit!
Solaris Dance Students
Solaris Dance Students is a group of dancers from all over the country, who have come together for a Performance Intensive with Charlotte Wassell. “Nym” is a Fusion belly dance choreography inspired by your very own blissful place. Created in 2020, Charlotte is over the moon to finally be able to share this dance!
Samantha and Stephanie of the Jewels
Samantha and Stephanie make up 25% of the Jewels. They are normally a troupe of eight dancers however today, two are joining us at Fantasia. Their passion for bellydance nourishes their hearts, minds and bodies. Together in their sisterhood they celebrate that age does not limit or define you as a dancer.
Rachael Borek
Rachael is a professional dancer and instructor based in Manchester. Rachael’s shows combine authentic Egyptian-style bellydance with her own heartfelt passion and quirky personality, to create something unique, engaging and real. She’s at her happiest when dancing to live Arabic music – or when bringing a cheeky “live” edge to recorded music with her finger cymbals!
Kus
Kus is a Sri Lankan Kiwi, who started her belly dance journey in New Zealand. She has been dancing and performing for about 8 years. Since being based in london she has had the privilege of learning from some amazing teachers like Charlotte, Maelle, Tevec, Aziza of Montreal, Sureya and Shahrzad. Today she’s performing an oriental theatrical fusion piece to “Where is my mind” by Maxence Cyrin.

Victoria Mascord
Victoria is London-based belly dancer who has been performing professionally for a number of years at all kinds of private events. Whilst she previously specialised in Egyptian-style belly dance she has now found a love for Turkish belly dance through her classes with Sureya.
Jamilah Aziz
Hailing from China and now residing in the vibrant city of Leamington Spa, UK, she is a professional belly dancer and Bollywood performer, having clinched the prestigious title of the Nile Group International Belly Dance Competition. Beyond her captivating performances, Jamilah is also an organizer of workshops and events, boasting an extensive 12-year career in dance instruction. Two years ago, she brought her passion and expertise to the UK, where she has embarked on her journey of dance education in the heart of Leamington Spa.
Walladah
Walladah is a dancer, singer, musician, teacher and researcher, improviser, choreographer and eternal student of art.
