Tim Garside

We are delighted that Tim has joined the faculty.  He loves creating solos with dancers, exploring the possibilities and taking the fear away.

Tim Garside is a percussionist / multi-instrumentalist who has specialised in Middle Eastern percussion for over 30 years. 

He also plays Nay {Arabic flute}, Arghul {Arabic pipe}, western flutes, Kamanche, Citole, Santour and Dulcimer.

He has performed all over the world with many acts both Arabic and Iranian, including with Hossam Ramzy, Natacha Atlas, Cheb Mami, Hakim, Joglaresa and Jirar.

He has worked with dancers extensively during this time.
