Charlotte Wassell

Charlotte is an experienced ATS (American Tribal Style) and Fusion belly dancer teaching regular classes in her home town of Brighton along with workshops around the UK and internationally. She is a great believer in lifelong learning and regularly travels to train with master teachers in a variety of styles. She performs as a soloist and directs and co-directs a number of companies and collaborative projects. 

 

We are delighted that Charlotte has joined the JWAAD faculty and delivers modules on weekend 2 of both the History and Culture course and the Music course.  She explains how Tribal and Fusion belly dance have developed, their different genres and the music synonymous with these styles.
