Catherine Bartholomew

One of our senior tutors and mentors, Catherine is based in Rochester, Kent.

Catherine teaches regular classes as well as development classes to challenge her students.  Catherine hosts and annual showcase and is now co-organiser of a new festival, ‘Shimmy and Shine’ which will take place later this year.

Catherine has her own performance troupe, ‘Clockwork Angels’ and is herself one of the principal dancers in the ‘Johara Dance Company’.

Catherine is currently involved in developing some of our courses so that aspects can be studied on line.  Watch this space.

Catherine is an experienced JWAAD teacher though is newer to the faculty delivering accredited courses.  She is known for her thoroughness, her ability to break things down and make information accessible.  Catherine has inspired many both as a performer and as a teacher.
