Louise Gilbert

Louise says ‘I discovered Bellydance in 2004 when working in Budapest and haven’t looked back! I’ve been very fortunate to have studied with great teachers in the UK, who have inspired and encouraged me; Emma Chapman, Lisa Michaela and Sue Baker. I enjoy working with props such as veil and sword. If I had to pick a favourite style it would be saidi. Studying for the JWAAD modules which I have so far taken has been very rewarding and enhanced my understanding of the dance and its context.’
