Worried about improvising with a drummer? Don’t be. You are not on your own. Kay will help you explore how to communicate with Joelle through your dance. It is a duet. Together you and Joelle will make the magic happen.
Kay and Joelle explore how to create a varied , fun and inspiring improvised drum solo.
This is not about choreography ……. it is about playing with the rhythms, relaxing and giving yourself permission to have fun and be creative.
There will be some solo work. All levels welcome but this class is not about technique. The more dance experience you have, the more you can bring to your solo with Joelle.
LIMITED NUMBERS SO BOOK YOUR PLACE.
This class is particularly recommended for those who are entering the live drum solo competition on Friday evening. This starts about 19.30 – so plenty of time to get ready. There are changing rooms at the venue.
