Broadway meets bellydance in this workshop where we’ll infuse bellydance with some of the best moves, combinations and techniques from Jazz, Modern and Theatrical dance styles.
Dorte Evelyn is a former Latin and Ballroom Champion, who has also worked as a dance choreographer within theaters, before studying bellydance in the Middle East. She specialises in Egyptian as well as Theatrical Fusion dance, and has studied a wide variety of dance styles including Jazz, Modern, Bollywood, and Flamenco. Having travelled the world she moved to the UK in 2009, where she founded the Ishtar Dance Academy, and has since performed in several dance productions in and outside London with both the Company of Dreams and the Johara Dance Company.
